About Us

Gables Scaffolding are a long standing, highly respected, scaffolding contractor based in Preston, Lancashire. With the recent acquisition of Abbey Scaffolding, we have a highly skilled workforce committed to delivering an exceptional service. 
 
We are a comprehensively insured and accredited scaffolding contractor with a reputation on delivering quality & safety at a core focus of our service. Each scaffolding project we work on has its own set of unique challenges but we’re able to apply our expertise and knowledge to safely erect a scaffolding system to enable secure access for oncoming teams.

Experienced

All our operatives are continually measured on performance to ensure that we maintain the highest levels of quality & safety no matter of the scale of the project.

Safety

Risk assessments and method statements are conducted for all sites and we employ the services of an external independent H&S consultant to ensure that we comply.

Insured

We hold a comprehensive insurance cover policy that contains a public & private indemnity excess of £1 million. We have never need it, but it is there when we do. 

Responsive

We always aim for a fast response and all our work is carried out within the agreed timescale. We aim for as minimal disruption & inconvenience were possible. 

Communication

Our communication to our clients is key, so that they can manage other activities to keep to the strict deadlines on completion. We know the importance of this and meet our own requirements.

Apprentices

We actively recruit apprentices directly from local schools in the Preston area, to provide opportunities for pupils who have had troubled and challenging backgrounds.

Safety is paramount

The safety of our clients, sub-contractors and our scaffolding operatives is of paramount importance. 

 

All of our scaffolding operatives are CISRS or CSCS registered and they are regularly trained, updated and assessed on the latest safety regulations. Toolbox talks are also given every week. 

 

We are SafeContractor approved, that demonstrates we have complied to the health and safety accreditation allowing contractors to showcase their capability and aligned to SSIP requirements. We also conform to all the latest regulations from the NASC.
